Playa Los Cerritos
Located to the south of Todos Santos, Los Cerritos is ready to welcome every surfer, including beginners, intermediates, or advanced. Marked by beach and point breaks and exciting swells from the northwest and the southwest, Cerritos has something for every surfer. The cool water at Cerritos provides a nice contrast to the warm sand when you’re taking a break between surfs. The majestic, colonial Cerritos Beach Resort overlooks the beach, atop a rocky terrain that provides a perfect view of the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other.
Playa San Pedrito
Close to the nearby village of Pescadero, this beach, sometimes known by the same name, is the place to catch big south swells for your right breaks. Situated only about six minutes south of the town of Todos Santos itself, San Pedrito is a surfing mini-city in its own right, with every leisure and convenience on hand. And it’s a great place for beginners who aren’t ready for the big swells yet, although there’s plenty of those, too. Nearby camping sites, equipment rental stores, and surfing schools are handy for everybody.
La Pastora
Three miles north of Todos Santos, La Pastora is well-known for its large waves, large point breaks and enormous northwest swells. This beach is surfing simplicity with no distractions—just the aesthetics of a rugged oceanside beachfront. La Pastora is a great choice for advanced surfers who are ready to embrace the often-violent Pacific swells that regularly wash in, especially during the winter months. Surfing here, against the silhouette of the beautiful Sierra de la Laguna mountains, you’ll feel like you’ve found your own private paradise.
