Justina has been using the pedal loom to weave blankets since she was thirteen years old. She shared this craft with her daughter María and it’s been thirty years since they started their own workshop outside of Todos Santos, you can learn about this craft and even put your own foot on a pedal loom when you visit The Blanket Factory.

Loco Local Art
Since the day Loco Local Art opened their doors, five generations of artisans have produced the art you will see in this unique Todos Santos shop. Each artist has a gift for art, and no two pieces are alike.

When Galleria de Todos Santos opened in 1994 (before the streets were paved and the buildings you see now were erected), it was the first of the Todos Santos shops to feature mixed-medium artisans. As their reputation grew, artists flocked to be featured in the gallery.
